The 5804 Series are 0.4mm pitch, ultra low profile Board to Board Connectors featuring a stacking height of 0.9mm/1.5mm/2.0mm. These products were developed to meet market needs for miniaturization of Smartphone, mobile phones, digital AV equipment, etc. Space saving is greatly achieved with a width of 2.4mm.

Suitable for consumer devices such as smartphones, tablet PCs, wearable devices, laptops, audio equipment and game machines.

Features

  • There is little dead space as metal is not exposed on the back of the connector. Thus, it is possible to form wiring patterns on the substrate area which is positioned between the terminals, realizing a suitable structure for high-density packaging.
  • A pinching structure (two-point contact design) has been adopted to enhance resistance to vibrations or drop shocks . The Twin-rib structure of the contact on the plug side eliminates foreign matters such as scattered flux and chips from board separation and ensures high contact reliability.

With the metals covering both ends, the connector, with narrow pitches and low profile though, realizes the structurally high robustness and smooth guiding function for mating to prevent breakage of the insulator housing and contact caused by misaligned mating. The metals at both ends of which rated current is 5.0A/metal tab enable to carry a large current. The 5843 Series are Board to Board Connectors with a pitch of 0.35mm, which is reduced by 0.05mm compared with our conventional products. In addition, these series have space-saving features with a stacking height of 0.8mm and width of 2.4mm. The bottoms of the connectors are insulated and avoid exposure of contacts, thus enabling flexible designs on printed circuit boards.Suitable for consumer devices such as smartphones, tablet PCs, wearable devices, laptops, audio equipment and game machines.
