SDGs Initiatives by the Electronic Components Division

With the goal of protecting the Earth’s environment, Kyocera’s Electronic Components Division is working to address environmental issues and contribute to the reduction of environmental impact by promoting resource conservation through the development of smaller, more energy efficient electronics.
In the information and communications equipment market, which includes smartphones and PCs, Kyocera is not only focusing on conserving natural resources by reducing the size and weight of products –Kyocera's specialty – but also reducing electricity consumption by increasing the number of products it makes in the production process.

As shown in the graph and tables below, Kyocera has led the industry in miniaturization in many product groups.
We aim to create environmentally friendly products while meeting the needs of society and customers.
