The 5015 Series are Board to Board Connectors which support the IEEE P1386 standard for mezzanine card installations in industrial computer applications including the VME bus, Future bus, CompactPCI bus and other host systems. These products are 1.0mm pitch, SMT connectors with 64 positions and stacking heights between 8 to 15mm.

The 5600 Series are two-piece, SMT type Board to Board Connectors with a pitch of 0.8mm, designed for high-density applications such as CD-ROM I/O devices. We offer right angle types for the plug side and straight types for receptacles.

The 5689 Series are Board to Board Connectors featuring a pitch of 0.635mm and a stacking height of 8.0mm.
These products are vertical (stacking) type connectors for connecting boards which are aligned in parallel directions. -

The 5846 Series are 0.4mm pitch, ideal for notePCs etc. These products have achieved a stacking height of 3.0mm and a width of 5.8mm including leads.

The 9072 Series were developed for use in stacking boards and consist of headers and receptacles. The height between adjacent boards can be set at 12, 15, 18 or 20mm. These products, featuring receptacles with a bottom entry and kinked headers, are equipped with guides for preventing incorrect fitting.

We offer both right angle and vertical connectors , but only bottom contacts are available in right angle versions. -

The 6251 Series are suitable for applications in which high contact reliability is required under harsh environments regarding vibration, temperature, humidity, etc. Applications include in-vehicle units such as car navigation system units, GPS units, and car audio products, medical or industrial equipment, and OA or AV equipment. FPCs/FFCs with tabs prevent improper mating, enable secure connection, and increase the force to retain FPCs/FFCs. The FPCs/FFCs can be also be used in our right angle 6288 Series and vertical 6801 Series.

The 6288 Series are FPC/FFC Connectors designed for applications such as GPSs and AV equipment for automobile use or electronics for industrial and/or medical use which require resistance to vibration. These products are 0.5mm/1.0mm pitch, bottom contact, right angle, SMT, ZIF connectors with front locking. Their structures prevent FPCs/FFCs from becoming disjointed or inserted aslant.

The 8016 Series are highly-reliable square-shaped I/O Rack and Panel Connectors using contacts developed by Kyocera of which plug and receptacle contacts are the same shape. The contacts feature a cross-shaped, four-face contact structure using a pair of balanced spring beams, thereby producing smooth multipoint contacts and wide wiping surfaces. Equipped with an actuating screw mechanism which ensures tight mating by turns of screws, as well as guide pins and sockets to provide orientation after fitting and prevent incorrect mating. Offered in the crimp, tab soldering, and wire wrapping types. In addition, connectors conforming to MIL are available.

The 8042 Series are jumper-cable to board connectors developed for next-generation smart meters (power flow meters) for which demand has been rapidly increasing in recent years. Crimping or pressure welding is unnecessary, thus the assembling work is simplified by connecting stripped jumper cables directly. Both vertical and right angle types are available, which contribute to fewer restrictions in board layouts and/or laying jumper cables.

A high-density, multi-purpose, versatile model developed by Kyocera to withstand severe operating environments under high temperature and humidity. These products newly feature a double-spring, multipoint contact which has resistance to atmospheric corrosion as well as a pliable spring characteristic with resistance to vibrations and shocks. Because of hermaphroditic metal to metal contacts, the connectors are free from plastic deformation and the dimensional accuracy is not affected, thus realizing long product life and high reliability. Overloads in insertion and draw outs are prevented with an anti-forcing design. These connectors have outstanding endurance.

The 8071 Series, featuring a pitch of 2.0mm, are hard metric board to board connectors developed for high-speed signals and EMI protection in computers, large network servers and telecommunication equipment conforming to IEC61076-4-101. These connectors support the Compact-PCI Bus system, specified by PICMG (PCI Industrial Computer Manufacturers Group) as the standard bus for industrial board computers.
■AB Type The AB Type are connectors featuring 125 positions with the location guide optimized for high-density mounting and high pin counts in applications such as electric transmission systems. Specifications conform to the existing Multi-Line Module Connector series. In the A type (110 positions), multi-positioning has been achieved while maintaining the function of location guide by making the applied part of the coding key a signal line. Combining plugs from the 8071 Series and receptacles from the 8072 Series enable stacking type applications. -
8072
The 8072 Series are horizontal plug connectors used with receptacle connectors from the 8071 Series in order to form extender cards. These connectors feature five rows and have the following variations: A type which are 110-line press-in connectors with coding keys, and B type which are press-in connectors featuring 95, 110, or 125 lines without coding keys. Vertical receptacles are also available in the 8072 Series.

The 8073 Series are cable connectors designed to effectively catch signals emitted from the backplanes of connectors from the 8071 Series.. Shielded types for EMI / EMC control and non-shielded types are available.
Kyocera’s original design concept of stacking five-pin modules enables the expansion of pins in multiples of five. This structure also allows free combination of circuits in the field between the concentrating side and the branching side in multiples of five.
In addition, combining these connectors with our original two-cored coaxial cables designed for high-speed transmission enables simple arrangement of cables, thus resulting in the easy maintenance of equipment.
