One-action type 6810 Series connectors utilize a proprietary structure that enables quick, stable connections in a single insertion, removing a significant impediment to fully automated assembly. Specifically designed to support automated optical inspection (AOI) for high-speed quality assurance, these connectors offer a valuable opportunity to enhance productivity in electronics manufacturing. We have a standard type for general electronic devices such as office automation equipments and home appliances as well as a high-temperature resistant type for automotive applications, capable of withstanding temperatures up to 125°C and meeting the proprietary vibration test equivalent to USCAR-2 V3 standards.　　Recommended applications: Automobile, industrial equipment and power supplies etc.

Features

  • 6810 Series connectors are available in two configurations: a vertical type that mounts perpendicular to the circuit board for vertical insertion, and a right-angle type mounting parallel to the board for horizontal insertion.
  • Kyocera’s proprietary structure includes springs at both ends of the connector to facilitate automatic locking upon full insertion. This structure ensures quick and stable connections.

One-action type 6817 Series FPC/FFC connectors utilize a proprietary structure that enables quick, stable connections in a single insertion, removing a significant impediment to fully automated assembly. Since the actuator can be held open, it is possible to remove FPC/FFC with one hand, and it is also possible to mount the connector on a limited work space. 6817 Series connectors are space-saving: the vertical type that mounts perpendicular to the circuit board for vertical insertion is 5.32mm high on a PCB and 2.9mm wide, and the right-angle type mounting parallel to the board for horizontal insertion is 2.6mm high on a PCB and 5.9mm wide. The 6288 Series are FPC/FFC Connectors designed for applications such as GPSs and AV equipment for automobile use or electronics for industrial and/or medical use which require resistance to vibration. These products are 0.5mm/1.0mm pitch, bottom contact, right angle, SMT, ZIF connectors with front locking. Their structures prevent FPCs/FFCs from becoming disjointed or inserted aslant. Suitable for automobile, industrial equipment, power supplies and flat TV etc.
