What is GNSS?

GNSS is an abbreviation for the term Global Navigation Satellite System. It uses orbiting satellites, tens of thousands of kilometers up in the sky, to identify its precise location on Earth.

GNSS includes GPS (US), Galileo (EU), GLONASS (Russia), and BeiDou (China).

GNSS is used in a wide range of applications, including smartphones, wearables, IoT, and in-vehicle telematics, where small, high-precision SAW devices are used.
