The 8017 Series are highly-reliable square-shaped I/O Rack and Panel Connectors using contacts developed by Kyocera of which plug and receptacle contacts are the same shape. The contacts feature a cross-shaped, four-face contact structure using a pair of balanced spring beams, thereby producing smooth multipoint contacts and wide wiping surfaces. Equipped with an actuating screw mechanism which ensures tight mating by turns of screws, as well as guide pins and sockets to provide orientation after fitting and prevent incorrect mating. Offered in the crimp, tab soldering, and wire wrapping types. In addition, connectors conforming to MIL are available.   Recommended applications: Industrial equipment, power supplies etc.
