New Compact SAW Filter for Wi-Fi/Bluetooth®/wBMS

As communication devices become increasingly multifunctional, the trend toward high-density electronic component mounting and space-saving designs has become pronounced, driving demand for smaller electronic components. It is important to note that leading short-range wireless communication standards, such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth®, are primarily used in applications where space constraints are critical. These applications include smartphones and wearable devices.
In addition, high-performance Wi-Fi routers necessitate miniaturized components, which can be achieved by increasing the number of MIMO antennas. In light of this trend, there has been increasing demand for ultra-compact SAW filters. To meet this demand, Kyocera has developed a new product.
