Overview

KYOCERA AVX has developed and mass-produced cylindrical type SuperCapacitors capable of rapid charging and discharging.

This product lineup includes an automotive-grade SuperCapacitor that complies with AEC-Q200 standards. When used in combination with a battery or alone, it can extend the backup time of automotive devices, extend the battery life, and provide instantaneous high power.

Achieves Long Life and Low ESR in Low-Temperature Ranges

KYOCERA AVX's SuperCapacitors use acetonitrile as the electrolyte to achieve longer life and lower ESR at lower temperatures compared to SuperCapacitors using propylene carbonate.
